Racial inequity is both a sustainability and justice problem. I will support businesses owned by people of color (shopping, sharing, writing reviews if purchased).

If at all possible, I will not accept any disposable bags when making purchases.

I will share with others what I have learned about just economies during the Ecochallenge.

I will research my local communities composting options.

I will research my local communities recycling programs and options.

I will repair or mend items that would have otherwise been thrown away.

I will bring my own reusable straws.

I will review the impact that I have had so far on perpetuating conservation and restoration during the Ecochallenge.

I will commit to shop at minority owned businesses after the Ecochallenge is finished.
