Conservation and Restoration
Use a Reusable Mug
I will avoid sending 10 disposable cup(s) to the landfill each day by using a reusable mug.
Just Economies
Shop Locally Owned Businesses
I will swap a regular purchase with something from a locally owned business.
Conservation and Restoration
Repurpose or Repair an Item to Keep it out of the Landfill
I will repair or mend items that would have otherwise been thrown away.
Conservation and Restoration
Use Reusable Bags
If at all possible, I will not accept any disposable bags when making purchases.

Racial inequity is both a sustainability and justice problem. I will support businesses owned by people of color (shopping, sharing, writing reviews if purchased).

Annabelle SEMLER-COLLERY 7/15/2023 4:47 AMCHISWICK REPAIR CAFEI had a lovely lamp that stopped working a few years ago. I couldn't throw it away and hoped that one day I would get to fix it. I brought it to the Chiswick repair Café today which host free repair events. I found the date and details of the event on the website Restart which helps to find repair events everywhere In the UK. Turns out I needed to change the fuse of the plug (who knew plugs had fuses...)!
That's now giving me idea of more things to repair like clothes I hold in a corner waiting to be mend!
